A FIFA referee, Koman Coulibal, who disallowed a winning third goal by the U.S. national football team is under scrutiny.

On 18 June, The United States played an admirable game against Slovenia. Down 2-nil in the first half, the U.S. game back to tie the game. In the 85th minute the U.S. looked like for one moment it had won the game, however.

After a free kick from Landon Donovan, Maurice Edy scored a goal. But then immediately the referee disallowed it. U.S. want it investigated? No... it was not necessary. The US has already many enemies around the globe. In their pursuit to bidding for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup and US can't afford to make any more enemies.

The US may have reason to criticise the referee but wait! The US has never been fair since the birth of Israel. They have not been fair to Palestinians, Iranians, Iraqis, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and the list continue. The referee is NOT like the UN where you can manipulate and decide in your favour.

The world Cup is where US veto power is not working. In a level playing field like Soccer World Cup, US is reduced to nothing at all. I doubt if US and Israel can continue to exist if the world is managed like the World Cup.

Comming back to soccer. FIFA need to consider the following factors when reviewing the referee decision:

1) The call cannot be retroactively taken back and the U.S. assigned its rightful third goal.

2) The referee will not face any public criticism by FIFA. It is rare that the board disciplines any referees, even the very lousy, and whenever it does it does so without announcing it and just quietly stops assigning the referee
