According to a friend, a visit to Saigon would not be considered completed if you are not visiting the Ben Thanh Market.  Well, I made it a point and informed our driver to drive us there.

Go for the colour and exotics chaos, but realise that no matter how good your negotiating skills, you are still going to pay twice as much as the local customers.
